Duke of Edinburgh Award
Violin lessons that count towards your Duke of Edinburgh Skills section.
How It Works

The Duke of Edinburgh Award requires participants to develop a skill over a sustained period of time. Learning or progressing with the violin is a recognised and well-respected choice for the Skills section at Bronze, Silver, and Gold level.
Lessons at The Violin Academy UK are structured, progressive, and properly documented — everything you need to evidence your commitment and development for your DofE portfolio.
What's Involved?
You don't need to be an advanced player to use violin lessons for your DofE. What matters is that you're making consistent, measurable progress over your chosen timeframe. Whether you're a complete beginner picking up the violin specifically for your award, or an existing student looking to formalise your progress, lessons here can work for you.
Lexxie will:
-
Structure lessons with your DofE timeframe and level in mind
-
Track and document your progress throughout
-
Provide written evidence of your development for your portfolio
-
Sign off your Skills section on completion
